Jackie Hinde started dancing at aged 8 under the expert tuition of Tom Walker. She quickly rose through the ranks, taking all her medal tests at an early age and going on to win the medallist of the year competition. Jackie then moved into the open circuit whilst taking lessons with the world renowed teacher, choreographer and adjudicator Paul Beeton. Jackie won several large events including the City of Manchester trophy and placed in the final of practically every competition she entered.
After a short break from dancing Jackie returned, aged 23 to continue her career, this time concentrating more on the teaching aspect.
