I started dancing at aged 8 under the expert tuition of Tom Walker. She quickly rose through the ranks, taking all her medal tests at an early age and going on to win the medallist of the year competition. I then moved into the open circuit whilst taking lessons with the world renowed teacher, choreographer and adjudicator Paul Beeton. I won several large events including the City of Manchester trophy and placed in the final of practically every competition she entered.
After a short break from dancing I returned, aged 23 to continue my career, this time concentrating on teaching. I taught for several years under the expert eye of Paul Beeton and continues to teach to this day.
